Andy Goram and Lorenzo Amoruso inspire a new monthly competition to WIN a £50 Voucher

Recently the Glasgow's Great Deal site ran a deal offering a Chauffeur Driven Mercedes to Glasgow Airport for just £19 instead of the usual £61?  It was an extremely popular deal indeed and was bought by almost 100 people.

Among the lucky buyers we had a couple of celebrity passengers; Andy Goram was picked up in Carluke and taken to the Glasgow Hilton where he collected Lorenzo Amoruso and both then travelled on to Glasgow Airport.

A big thank you to Andy who was kind enough to send us this picture of himself and Lorenzo outside the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.  Andy was also keen to thank us for the excellent service and true value for money he got from the deal.

OUR NEW MONTHLY COMPETITION

We would like to get more pictures of people enjoying the deals they buy so we've devised a new monthly competition to reward you for sharing your deal with us.  Here's how to enter:

• Take a picture of yourself, partner or group enjoying their deal and upload it to the Edinburgh's Great Deal Facebook page
• Tag yourself and any others in the picture and share it with your community

On the last day of every month we will conduct a prize draw for all the people who have uploaded, tagged and shared their picture and the lucky winner will receive a £50 voucher to use with any deal the following month.  We're starting the competition as from today and the first draw will take place on the 31st March 2012.

Who's going to lift the prize for 6,500 ?

We are pleased to announce that we are nearly at the 6,500 "Likes" milestone. To mark this special occasion we have decided to put up two prizes for the 6,500th friend. The prizes are for a cut and restyle with nourishing TiGi condition treatment by a senior stylist at the High voltage Hair Salon in Edinburgh.

The reason for putting two prizes up is because you have to invite your friends to join the Facebook Page, and if they win, there is a good chance they will pick you to accompany them to get your hair done as well at High Voltage Hair Salon.
